Hatch is ready to create waves of prosperity & revolutionize Pakistan’s startup ecosystem after winning ‘Best Co-Working Space’ at, The Global Startup Awards 2021

Hatch is Sri Lanka’s leading coworking space, start-up incubator, and accelerator. It was founded on June 25th, 2018 to create a contemporary co-working space. Recently, Hatch has won the prestigious ‘Best Co-working Space’ at the Global Startup Awards 2021, becoming the first in the South Asian region to win under this category.
Hatch won this award from over 18,000 worldwide applicants following two rounds of gruelling regional and global competitions. It ultimately won, defeating five global finalists.
Global Start-up Awards was founded in 2012, and is the world’s largest independent startup ecosystem awards. It works with hundreds of local partners to locate, and connect innovative start-ups, as well as investors, incubation/acceleration programmes, coworking spaces, and notable founders.
Hatch’s worldwide recognition is a significant step forward and a source of impetus in its quest to redefine the norms of the Future of Work.
Hatch Co-founder and CEO Brindha Selvadurai-Gnanam called the win a “reflection of the evolution, phenomenal growth and capacity of South Asia’s ecosystem of start-ups”.
Located at Colombo and Jaffna, Hatch offers networking opportunities and resources to professionals, entrepreneurs, corporations and start-ups in every field of business. Hatch is also collaborating with several private sector organizations and foreign agencies to expand into new markets around the world.
To revolutionize the start-up ecosystem in South Asia, Hatch is now launching in Pakistan with the mission of improving the start-up ecosystem and empowering others for a better tomorrow. Hatch’s flagship location for Pakistan is Lahore’s famous MM Alam Road, Gulberg, consisting of 19,000 sq. ft and will be a home for over 250 people consisting of entrepreneurs and working professionals, who’d have access to 75+ co-working desks, 20+ private office spaces, a fully equipped auditorium, and multiple meeting rooms. Giving comfort to startups with state of the art amenities such as cafeterias, breakout areas, video/audio facilities and much more.
